Features
  • Finely crafted using time-tested joinery and construction methods, lumber is selected, sanded and assembled by hand to ensure that all the joinery is clean, flush, and smooth to the touch.
  • Multiple coats of silky smooth varnish is applied and sanded by hand to provide lasting protection that is resistant to stains, moisture rings, heat damage and abrasions.
  • Natural variations in solid wood and hand-applied finishes make each piece unique. Slight grain and finish irregularities as well as subtle differences in stain shades are signs that the furniture has been crafted from solid wood and are considered hallmarks of quality.
  • Natural hardwoods have specific characteristics that make them warm and appealing to the eye. Swirls, knots, pitch pockets and burls are some characteristics that contribute to the natural beauty of finely crafted hardwood furniture.
  • Hardwoods oxidize, or change color, from exposure to direct light. The color of the wood will deepen over time and take on a warm glow and soft patina.
  • Digital images are an approximation of the actual color and vary from monitor to monitor and, as such, cannot be considered an exact representation of a product's actual color.

Product Care:
To care for and preserve the finish on your new Copeland Furniture piece, please keep the following recommendations in mind. While our furniture has been finished with a durable top coat, the surface may be sensitive to dents and abrasions during the first 30 days in your home. Treat the surface finish gently so it does not dent or chip. Tape or stickers should not be put on the finish. For general care use a soft cloth to dust the furniture. Use damp cloth with a mild soap to clean-up spills or dirt. Dry the surface thoroughly. Please do not use any polishes, waxes or solvents to clean the surface of the furniture. This holds true for new Copeland Furniture pieces as well as items you may already have in your home. Please do not place any candles directly on the surface of your furniture. The perfumes and dyes in the candles may penetrate the finish.

Simple side rails feel solid once everything is set up. The support feels dependable, which matters for something used every night. I would order from this shop again.

Guest stays is what made the piece worth it. The size is the part I was most worried about, and it ended up being right. It does not feel too delicate for everyday use.

Balanced support makes the bed feel secure at night. It arrived looking like what I hoped for from the photos. I was mainly looking at scale, but the platform design ended up being my favorite detail.

G

Headboard height makes the piece feel finished. It is cute without being too much. It made the space feel less empty right away. I would buy it again for this room.

L

Bedroom refresh works better than expected. It made the space feel less empty right away. The warm brown tone feels right for the style of the room. I would not overthink it, but I would measure first.

Amelia Coleman

Grounded styling gives the bedroom a more intentional look. It gives the bedroom a proper focal point without making the space feel crowded. I was mainly looking at scale, but the wood frame ended up being my favorite detail. The whole purchase felt easy and worthwhile.

A fun accent piece that actually gets used

I put this in the reading corner of our den and took the photo on a bright Saturday morning. It’s not a staged room—the blanket, coffee mug, and my tote bag are usually right there. The ottoman is firmer than I expected, but it works really well as a footrest or an extra seat when friends come over. The pattern is definitely bold, although it blends better with our older furniture than I thought it would.

Looks great in our hallway, but it is larger than I expected

I put this console in the hallway near our front door and took this photo one morning before leaving for work. The wood grain looks beautiful in daylight, and the open arches keep it from feeling too heavy against the wall. We use the lower shelf for baskets and shoes, while the top usually ends up holding our keys, mail, and whatever the kids bring in from school. It was a little wider than I pictured, so definitely measure your space first, but it feels very sturdy and has made the entryway much more useful.

Useful storage without looking like a filing cabinet

We placed this next to the reading chair in our den, and the round shape works much better there than the square table we had before. The raffia has more visible texture in person, which gives the room some warmth without feeling too beachy. I use the drawers for reading glasses, chargers, and the remotes, although they are better for smaller things than bulky storage. The marble top is easy to wipe down and feels substantial. My only warning is that the table is much heavier than it looks, so we needed two people to move it into place. I took this photo on a normal Saturday morning with my book and coffee still sitting nearby.

Deep, comfortable, and much warmer in person

We have had this sofa in our living room for about a month, and it has become the spot where everyone ends up at night. The seat is deeper than our old sofa, which is great for stretching out, but I would definitely check the 41-inch depth if your room is tight. The leather looks taupe during the day and a little warmer under our lamps at night. It already has a few natural creases where we sit most often, which I actually prefer to leather that stays perfectly stiff. Delivery took some planning because the sofa is heavy and wide, but once it was in the room, the low profile made the space feel more open.

Plenty of storage without looking bulky

We put this along the back wall of our dining room and it holds far more than I expected. Most of our serving dishes, table linens, and the things that used to sit on the dining table are finally out of sight. The finish is a warm cream rather than a bright white, and the grasscloth texture is more noticeable when you’re standing close to it. Delivery definitely required two people because the piece is very heavy. It also sits a little lower than our previous buffet, but the long top works perfectly when we have family over for dinner. I took this picture before clearing away the kids’ backpack and grocery bag, which is honestly how the room usually looks.

The interior lights make all the difference

We bought this for the pottery and glassware we had scattered around our dining room. I took this picture at night because that’s when the cabinet looks its best—the two lights give everything a warm glow without being overly bright. The Mink finish has more texture and gray-brown variation in person than I could see online, and the rounded top keeps such a tall cabinet from feeling too heavy. It is extremely substantial, so I was glad we chose in-room delivery. The glass does show fingerprints, but they wipe off easily. I also like that the shelves don’t need to be packed full for the cabinet to look finished.
